KATECH and HL Klemove Forge Partnership for Future Mobility Innovation

Seoul, Sept. 17 (Yonhap News, Reporter Kim Bo-kyung) – The Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH) has partnered with HL Klemove to strengthen competitiveness in next-generation mobility technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous driving.
On September 16, KATECH announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HL Klemove to promote collaboration on future mobility technologies and foster an innovative industrial ecosystem.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly pursue core R&D initiatives in AI-driven and autonomous mobility, while also cooperating in areas such as performance validation and evaluation systems.
Key areas of joint research include chassis and software platforms, LiDAR and other environmental sensors, as well as intelligent control and safety engineering for mobility systems.
KATECH plans to expand its technical cooperation with HL Klemove beyond ongoing joint projects to cover a broader range of autonomous mobility technologies.
